Little Chef's Garden at the YWCA is the opening program of The HAPPY Organization, which is teaming up with the YWCA Tucson to offer exciting programs for children and youth. The mission of HAPPY is to improve the health and wellness of Arizona youth and families through education, outreach, and advocacy about proper nutrition and healthy lifestyle choices. Through adult and youth-led programs, young people have access to affordable fun physical activities, nutrition education and healthy cooking classes, and are empowered to become active participants in their own health and wellness, as well as inspire their families and peers to do the same. HAPPY was co-founded by 12-year old Haile Thomas to  provide activities that will inspire and encourage kids to live Healthy, Active, Positive, Purposeful lives. Look for more programs from HAPPY coming this fall!
