Victoria Trabosh – Dead Rita’s Wisdom
Author Victoria Trabosh is an Executive Coach, International Speaker, Columnist and Radio Show Co-Host. She also leads Wisdom Circles for the fans of Dead Rita’s Wisdom. She has 36 years of corporate and entrepreneurial experience in manufacturing, banking, and finance. In additional to her coaching and speaking, she co-founded the itafari Foundation in 2005, a not for profit organization to change and support the country of Rwanda. Victoria is passionate about changing the world in everything she does. She lives in the Pacific Nortwest with your husband, John, and two cats, Mossimo and Vito. Their four grown children and eaith grandchildren are never too far from their home and always in their hearts.
Erin McCabe – I Shall Be Near to You
Erin Lindsay McCabe studied literature at the University of California, Santa Cruz; earned a teaching credential at California State University, Chico; and taught high school English before completing her MFA at St. Mary’s College of California in 2010. She has taught composition at St. Mary’s and Butte College and resides in Northern California with her husband and son and a small menagerie that includes one dog, four cats, two horses, nine chickens, and three goats.
Gennifer Choldenko - Al Capone Does My Homework
Gennifer Choldenko’s first novel, Notes from a Liar and Her Dog, was a School Library Journal Best Book of the Year and a California Book Award winner. Her second novel, Al Capone Does My Shirts, was a Newbery Honor Book and a School Library Journal, Kirkus, and Publishers Weekly Best Book of the Year. Al Capone Does My Shirts has sold more than a million copies worldwide. It has been on the New York Times, Booksense, and Publishers Weekly bestseller lists. Her most recent picture book, A Giant Crush(illustrated by Melissa Sweet), was published in 2011. If a Tree Falls at Lunch Period, an ALA notable recording, just came out in paperback and her newest novel Al Capone Shines My Shoes—a sequel to the beloved Al Capone Does My Shirts—is a Kirkus, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Chicago Public Library Best of the Best for 2009. Her first fantasy novel, No Passengers Beyond This Point was called “a fast-paced mind bender” and a “Wonderfully imagined adventure story.” Her newest novel, Al Capone Does My Homework, the last book in the Al Capone trilogy, will be available in August 2013. Gennifer’s books have been translated into thirteen languages.
Sylvie Simmons – I’m Your Man The Life of Leonard Cohen
Sylvie Simmons is a renowned music journalist and award-winning writer. A Londoner, she moved to LA in the late seventies where she began writing about rock music for Sounds, Creem and Kerrang!, then Rolling Stone the Guardian and MOJO. She is the author of fiction and non-fiction books, including the acclaimed Serge Gainsbourg: A Fistful of Gitanes, Neil Young: Reflections in Broken Glass and the short story collection Too Weird for Ziggy. She currently lives in San Francisco, where she plays ukulele and still writes for MOJO. Her new book is I’m Your Man: The Life of Leonard Cohen, the definitive biography, published by Jonathan Cape.
