This workshop is limited to 25 Science teachers and 25 History/Social Studies teachers. Please answer YES to either, not both.
You are required to bring a laptop to participate in this workshop.
This workshop will help grades 6-12 teachers integrate Idaho Core Standards into Science and Social Studies classrooms with Discovery Education digital content and research-based instructional strategies that strengthen teaching and learning; enhance educators’ knowledge and understanding of the shifts required in instruction and assessment to address the Idaho Core Standards in the Science and Social Studies Classroom; expand educators’ ability to effectively develop and implement Idaho Core Standards lessons in Science and Social Studies that provide meaningful opportunities for student-centered learning.
One (1) Professional Development Credit will be available for a tuition fee of $60. You will be able to sign up at the workshop.
