As mediators, restorative justice leaders, trainers and facilitators we operate daily in high stakes situations with real opportunities to facilitate positive change and transformation. In this day long experiential workshop, you will learn valuable skills to shift dynamics in conflict situations for yourself and your clients. Katina Bishop is a Somatic Practioner and Leadership Coach and works individually with clients who identify as activists, non-profit leaders, writers, and survivors of trauma. She serves on the board of SEEDS Community Resolution Center, leads conflict resolution trainings and runs Restorative Justice circles at Rosa Parks Elementary School in Berkeley. She also has a 12 year history in civil liberties and social jusitce non-profit work. Katina holds and MFA in English and Creative Writting from Mills College and a BA in World Literature from Claremont Colleges. She is a Certified Somatic Coach through Strozzi Insititute and studies Aikido, The Art of Peace, and Two Rock Dojo with RIchard Strozzi-Heckler
Nettie Pardue delivers thoughtful, engaging, inspiring, and transformational trainings in diverse and international settings. She is currently Director of Programsfor the Outward Bound Center for Peacebuilding. She has been a trainer, instructor, coach and facilitator for over 17 years at Outward Bound, the United World College, Adventure Associates, and SEEDS Community Resolution Center. She holds an MA in Applied Behavioral Science from the Leadership Institute of Seattle and is a Certified Somatic Coach through Strozzi Insititute. She has presented at the Association for Experiential Education, Association for Dispute Resolution of Northern California, International Asscociation of Facilitators, and Saybrook University.
