LinkedIn: A Social Networking Tool for Business & Nonprofit Professionals
Wednesday, November 2, 2011 from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM (EDT)
If you are wondering how LinkedIn can help you in your business/organization, this class will answer that question. In this hands-on class you will create a profile, which you can then use to connect with other business/nonprofit professionals. In addition, several other powerful features, including an event planner and company directory will be demonstrated.
Bring along to class on a flash drive - either your current resume or a list of current and previous work experience, education and business organizations you are affiliated with and a list of people you wish to connect with. Also, prior to the class go to www.linkedin.com and complete the “Join Today” email address and password login (and remember these for the class as well).
