Lincoln In Love
Book & lyrics by Peter Kellogg
Music by David Friedman
Directed by Gus Kaikkonen
Lincoln in Love takes place in Springfield, Illinois at a crucial moment in young Abraham Lincoln’s life. Having just served his first term in the state legislature, he is racked with doubt about his abilities, and he’s also trying his first big case - a murder trial. Furthermore, young Lincoln is having such a hard time getting over the loss of his first, great love that he can't see his next, great love standing right in front of him. Throw in a duel and an attempted lynching and you have all the ingredients of a classic adventure tale… except this one happens to be true!
With Richard Todd Adams as Lincoln
and Jennifer Babiak as Mary Todd
