New Student Orientation (NSO) is an important step in preparing for your journey at LIM and offers you the opportunity to be a part of our rich LEGACY -- as you Learn, Engage, Grow, Attain, and Claim Your future!
NSO begins Wednesday, August 21 with Student Convocation/Parent Orientation and culminates with the College’s Fifth Annual Street Fair on Sunday, August 25. For details, updates and to register for the week’s events visit www.limcollege.edu/nso.

Photo Upload Procedures for New Student’s ID Cards
Deadline for submission is August 9th 2013
At LIM College your safety is critically important. In order to keep the College community safe and secure, all students must carry their College-issued ID card at all times. Students will need their ID card to enter all LIM College buildings including the 1760 Third Avenue Residence Hall.
As a new LIM College student, your ID card will be given to you during New Student Orientation. If you will be housing at the 1760 Third Avenue Residence, it will be given to you on the day you move-in. Should you lose your ID card, you will be required to obtain a new card from the IT Helpdesk. There is an IT Helpdesk at the Townhouse, Maxwell Hall, and 5th Avenue locations. Replacement cards can be replaced at the cost of $20.
Choosing an Acceptable Photo- You can use any photo that conforms to the following requirements. For example, you could use an existing digital photo, scan in a school picture or passport-type picture or take a new picture with a digital camera or smart phone.
Photo must meet the following specifications:
- It is properly focused; it should not appear fuzzy, grainy or have visible pixels
- Must be in one of the following file formats: .jpg, .gif, .png
- Your digital photo must be at least 325 x 390 pixels
- Shows your head and shoulders only, fully facing the camera
- Does not have anything obscuring your face, such as hair, hands, sunglasses, shadows or glare
Once you have your photo, please e-mail it as an attachment saved as your Full Name-D.O.B to NewStudentID@limcollege.edu.
