Proceeds from Lights Camera Cure benefit the Four Diamonds Fund, whose mission is to conquer pediatric cancer. The Fund finances innovative research to find a cure for childhood cancers, the leading disease-related cause of death for children in the U.S. The Fund also assists pediatric cancer patients and their families with superior care and comprehensive support. The Fund offsets the cost of treatment not covered by insurance for patients in the program and supports the medical team’s efforts.
The benefit is being sponsored by The Penn State Alumni Association Los Angeles Chapter (PSULA) in support of THON, the 46-hour dance marathon run by Penn State students and held at the school each February for the past 40 years. Last year alone, THON raised over $10 million for the Four Diamonds Fund. You can contribute to this year’s total by participating in the Hollywood Dance-a-THON.//
