Kenneth Walther, Professor of New Testament and Greek


Biblical lamps from the Flora Archaeological Center will be featured in a presentation which will explore how ancient pottery lamps were made, used, and lifted up in ancient literature as objects of special reference. The Flora Archaeological Center has on permanent display one of the largest of biblical lamps outside the Israeli Museum in Jerusalem. An illustrated lecture and a hands-on opportunity to see the lamps up close will be featured during this seminar.
