How should we rigorously and ethically study life online? The workshop aims to get scholars new to online research up to speed and provide opportunities for experienced researchers to think through research challenges.
The workshop will feature top STS researchers who investigate life online. The workshop will also include a break-out session, where attendees will have an opportunity to generate further discussion about emergent norms of online research.

In March 2012, the Office of Research established the Social Sciences Committee (SSC), as a means of raising the University’s profile in the social sciences, creating a stronger collective identity among the University’s social scientists, identifying barriers to social science research at Drexel, and identifying among those social scientists areas for new collaboration and research opportunities.
