Membership & donor engagement programs are the "bread and butter" for nonprofits everywhere, yet they are often seen as static and unchanging. For many organizations, membership is declining and new audience development is of paramount importance. In other cases, organizations are considering starting their own membership program. With stiff competition for consumer and donor dollars, there is a need to refocus and reenergize these programs. Although there is no "silver bullet" solution, join us for this pragmatic discussion on ways to strengthen your membership and donor programs and better leverage engagement to increase revenue, create partnerships and raise visibility. This special program will also include a panel discussion featuring three nonprofits and their membership program challenges and successes.
Panel Discussion Facilitated by Andrew Marietta, Regional Manager, NYCON
Panelists: Laura Knochen-Davis, Broome County Arts Council; Jessica Remza, Roberson Museum and Science Center; more to be announced
