Lou Pallo remained the only constant in Les Paul's Trio up until Les passed away in 2009. He continues to lead the trio joined by Nicki Parrott on bass and John Colianni on piano. Lou's goal is to keep Les' music and unique style alive as he pays homage to his long-time band mate, friend and music idol.
"Thank You Les" is Lou's recent star-studded recording and documentary tribute to guitar icon and inventor, Les Paul. After close to 40-years of performing with Les Paul, weekly, Lou Pallo has invited close friends in multiple genres to help him pay homage to their friend and mentor, preserving Les' spirit through a collection of jazz and blues standards adored by Les himself. Through the filming and recording process plus artist interviews and rare Les Paul footage, we learn about Les' later years and what it was like to work alongside the iconic guitar legend.
Santo & Johnny's "Sleep Walk" continues to be one of the most popular and quickly recognized instrumentals of the 20th century. It was the last #1 instrumental of the 50's and earned them a Gold Record.
