Event Details

Join us as we celebrate the 2014 launch of Lemonade Day Chicago and announce some new ways for you to get involved.

Throughout March and April, over 5,000 elementary and middle school students across Chicago will begin the journey of launching their first small businesses on Lemonade Day.

We've designed several easy volunteer opportunities so you can inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs.  You can volunteer by serving as a panelist on Shark Tank-style sessions or by sharing your experience as a guest speaker. You'll also find out about opportunities to join our street team to assist with our outreach efforts throughout the spring.

We encourage you to invite a friend or colleague who may be interested in getting involved with Lemonade Day Chicago or any of our other programs.

All attendees and guests must pre-register for the event by Monday, March 10. Space is limited.  Be sure to bring a photo-ID with you to check-in at the event.

Future Founders Foundation

The Future Founders Foundation is a non-profit organization that inspires youth in Chicagoland to explore and practice entrepreneurship. We offer programs to connect students with mentors from various professions and provide engaging project-based learning experiences for students in elementary school through college. From 2005-14, our programs served 22,500 students. This year, we are serving over 7,000 students at 50 schools.

Our organization was created in 2011 through the merger of Future Founders, the youth entrepreneurship program founded by the Chicagoland Entrepreneurial Center (CEC) in 2005 and Connect to the Future, the career exposure program that Lightbank Co-Founder Brad Keywell launched in 2006. In 2013, we launched Lemonade Day Chicago to encourage elementary and middle school students to experience entrepreneurship first-hand. In 2014, we created College Founders, a program that connects college students to the best entrepreneurial resources, events, and activities in the Chicagoland community.

Join us as we empower the next generation of business leaders and entrepreneurs.
