Adventures for Creative Tourists is taking a small group to one of our favorite museum and restaurant. The group will have lunch at Legal Seafood than go to the Smithsonian's National Portrait Gallery and American Art Museum for a museum staff led Highlights of the Collection Tour Price includes the cost of the meal.
About the Restaurant
Legal Seafood has always given their customers great food with a unique creative atmosphere. The Washington Post says that the food has great quality, and I can't disagree with that. I have visited this restaurant throughout the years, and never have had bad service or a bad meal. This high quality of service and food is outstanding despite the restaurant being very busy. I personally love to start an event season with this restaurant because of the décor, and food. If this is your first time visiting the US, than you can't miss this restaurant because it is a definite fixture on our American culture.
You will enjoy a full meal at the restaurant with a choice of appetizer, entree, and dessert. This menu is extremely popular with many crowds because it is well balanced. The seafood is very fresh, and is always seasoned extremely well.
The Legal Seafood menu has three courses that you can choose from:
- New England Clam Chowder (highly recommended)
- House Salad
- Caesar Salad with Chicken or Shrimp
- Boston Baked Scrod
- Fisherman’s Trio
Bon Bon a bite-sized scoop of ice cream dipped in milk chocolate
Drinks maximum of two soft drink beverages
After the group eats they will walk a short distance to the museum. This Smithsonian art museum houses one of our best collections of portraitures, and modern American Art. I love the highlights tour because it really gives you a full story of our American artists and culture. Each time I take this tour, I walk away with more knowledge about the art. Also, I find these tours to be very fun. The person that is scheduled to give the tour is very friendly and easy going too. She has worked at the museum for a long time, and knows the collection inside and out.
