Sometimes it seems like there is pleanty of time to teach our children about faith, life and everything else. After all, 18 years is a long time.
Except it isn't. It's only 936 weekends and the countdown is underway. At 7, you're down to about 500 weekends. At 12, there's only a few years before they get their liscence and many of those weekends will be spent apart from you.
What's your plan to help your child have a strong faith?
Legacy Milestones is our strategy to help parents be the primary faith trainer of their children. Our plan to help maximize the time you have.
During this summit we'll cover the intersection of church and family and take a look at how weekly Faith Talks help you navigate between the milestones. You'll also have a chance to choose between 4 breakouts covering material that is specific to the age of your child.
Our special guest, Daniel Nott will join us to share the story of how the church's partnership with his single mother changed his childhood and the ways that he has partnered with his church in turn. Daniel is a former Executive Director with AWANA international where he led the development of several programs including Puggles and High-Power Soccer as well as the recent redesign of the main Awana programs. Daniel is currenlty the managing Director of WhatIf and serves as a consultant to the Children & Youth Evangelism team at the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.
Growing in Faith at Home - Faith Talks are a key element to growing between Milestones. Hear key elements, how to come roadblocks, and examples of spending time as a family in God's Word. We'll also share about those informal times with God Sightings and Heart Talks.
