Event Details

The world needs a new definition of leadership. There is a popular

definition of leadership that many people use: leadership is influence.

The definition is not necessarily wrong, but it is incomplete. A more

comprehensive definition is what might be called Legacy Leadership,

a process of intentional influence that takes place in the context of

relationship. This workshop will unpack the details of that process.

Specifically we will be examining the following characteristics of Legacy

Leaders:

  • Worthy of Imitation
  • Boldness Amid Opposition
  • Pure Motives
  • Influence Without Asserting Authority
  • Affectionate and Emotional
  • Vulnerable and Transparent
  • Authentic and Sincere
  • Active, not Passive
  • Follower-centered, not Self-centered
  • Changed Lives: The Real Measure of Leadership

In accord with that mission, the BGSB Executive Education program offers a broad range of courses that address the physical, spiritual and work-related needs – life-long learning that helps to develop an individual’s physical, psychological, intellectual, moral, social and creative qualities.

Inspiring Social Consciousness

This theme is reflected in BGSB Executive Education, through courses that demonstrate how businesses can be guided by socially beneficial values and contribute to the overall sustainability of the enterprise.
