The Nonprofit Revitalization Act is a landmark change in the Not-for-Profit Corporation Law of the State of New York that will usher in a modern era for the operation and governance of nonprofit corporations starting on July 1, 2014. This program discussion will provide you with an overview of the Act as well as the various topics included in the Act that will have implications on compliance and board governance in general and your nonprofit's operations specifically.
This will be a general discusion of Key points, facilitated by Andrew Marietta of NYCON. He will also be providing resources compiled by NYCON and updating the group on Public Policy activities designed to delay the effective date of the Act. Executive Directors should be collecting useful resources and gathering their questions for this interactive event.
