Event Details

The big data phenomenon has dramatically changed the business landscape and presents new opportunities and challenges across industry sectors. The USC Institute for Communication Technology Management (CTM) and Penn Schoen Berland invite you to join us as we lead a workshop that will both highlight the value of big data & analytics and provide frameworks, best practices, and discussion sessions to enable business professionals to better leverage analytics within their organizations.

Changing the Game: The 2012 Presidential Campaign

Andrew Claster, Deputy Chief Analytics Officer for President Barack Obama’s 2012 re-election campaign, will discuss how analytics informed the Obama campaign’s fundraising, messaging, communications and voter contact strategies, and how the lessons learned can be applied to sales, marketing, customer service and corporate communications.

Data, Dashboards & Decisions: Case Studies in Analytics Implementation

Following the presentation, leading executives from the technology, entertainment, and communications sectors will share case studies that highlight innovative analytics initiatives within their organizations. We will also host a panel focused on the future of analytics and its effect on the enterprise. Featured presenters include:

  • Sanjay Chatterjee, Vice President, CRM & Online Marketing, Time Warner Cable
  • Wayne Peacock, VP of Analytics Insights & Business Intelligence, Disney
  • Michele Edelman, VP, Direct To Consumer Marketing, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment
