Learning The New Website Upgrade Tools - Day 1

This is Day 1 of a 2-day workshop designed to train library staff to create and maintain their library website. The software used for HLC/TPLS pages is a Content Management System (CMS), which you will access through Internet Explorer, from any computer...anywhere.
Emphasis will be placed on the new webtools & features included in the recent upgrade of our CMS.
Topics to be covered include the following:
Why Are We Here, and Where Are We Headed?
New Toolbar Buttons When Editing Your Web Pages
Using The Calendar Page
Using The Photo Album
Using The Document Manager
Creating Layout Pages
Please bring a flash drive with the following information:
Content - type your information in a word processing document(before the workshop), so you can copy and paste text - Saves Time!
- Photos or clip art for your site - Properly resize them for web use before the workshop, if you know how. If you don't know how, we'll discuss that topic during the workshop.
Each participant will be working on their own library website!
Participants Will Earn 6 CE Credits
