League of Women Voters & Choose Civility Facilitator Training
Saturday, February 8, 2014 from 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM (PST)
San Francisco, California
London, United Kingdom
Effective meetings require advance planning, a clear agenda, sound facilitation, transparent process, and effective decision making. The morning workshop (9:30-11:30am) will provide tools for organizing and facilitating meetings. The afternoon workshop (12:30 - 2:30) will shift the focus to organizing and planning public candidate or issue forums. Both sessions will focus on the role of a neutral facilitator. These fast-paced sessions are designed for the beginner, the curious, and those with some experience. Attend one or both workshops -- lunch is on our own between 11:30 - 12:30 (brown bag welcome).
This workshop is offered FREE OF CHARGE as part of the League of Women Voters of Maine mission to engage the public in civic affairs.
