Leadership Through Legislation: EDTalks

Wednesday, Feb. 26 | 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Ti Amos South | 6024 S. Sheridan Road
Free to attend | RSVP Required

Leadership Through Legislation is a quarterly event organized by the Government Relations Crew to ensure that our members are informed about all things political. It's extremely important for YPs to be active in their communities and aware of decisions being made on their behalf and that affect their future.

With education funding at a premium and state legislators considering a new proposal by Gov. Mary Fallin to boost education spending by millions of dollars, school funding has become the most heated topic in state government.

Arm yourself with the knowledge you need by attending this forum hosted by TYPros and the Tulsa Regional Chamber’s Workforce & Education. The event will feature two experts on education funding and advocacy: David Blatt, executive director of the Oklahoma Policy Institute, and Brian Hunt, Oklahoma Executive Director of Stand for Children.
