Share Leadership Luncheon Series: How Obamacare Affects You and Your Business

Event Details

In collaboration with Texas Turkish-American Chamber of Commerce (TTACC), the Vietnamese American Chamber of Commerce of Houston (VACCH) would like to invite you to the Leadership Luncheon Series about Obamacare's effects on you and your business.  Travis S. Middleton, Jr., president of Trademark Insurance Agency, will be the keynote speaker.

The event is held on Thursday, May 16 from 11:15 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Maggiano's Little Italy on 2019 Post Oak Blvd. There will be a three course lunch. Members of VACCH and TTAAC $35; non-members $45. Please register on Eventbrite. Bring your ticket(s) to the event to avoid delays. If you are a vegetarian, please email Tuyet-Minh Hoang at info@vacchouston.org so we can make accommodations.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Travis S. Middleton, Jr. is an expert on healthcare issues and has been quoted in the media including the Houston Chronicle, Wealth and Retirement Planner, and the Houston Business Journal.

He is a Trustee on the Board of the Houston Association of Health Underwriters where he chairs the Consumer Advocacy Committee, which focuses on the uninsured and underinsured in the Houston / Harris County area. He is currently involved in the development of an insurance product to be made available to employers in Harris County to cover the uninsured employees through the Harris County Healthcare Alliance.

From 2005 until 2006, Travis was the host for the “Employee Benefits Forum,” a live call-in TV show devoted to educating businesses on saving or reducing premiums on their group health insurance.

In 1981, Travis established TradeMark Insurance Agency, which specializes in group health insurance.  He uses his 30 years of experience to provide quality products for his clients, and specializes in designing domestic and international health insurance and employee benefit programs, including voluntary worksite programs and retirement programs.

The Vietnamese American Chamber of Commerce of Houston (VACCH) is a non-profit organization composed of local business owners and corporate representatives throughout the metropolitan Houston  area.     Our mission is to provide a strong network that allows businesses to build strong partnerships, and give back to our community.
