Each team has spent the past 6 months using a “community reconnaissance” method to investigate its particular issue and to conduct face to face interviews in Central Falls, collect/research relevant data, information, trends, statistics, and demographics pertinent to the issue. They have conducted a “diagnostic” on the findings, determined a path of action and are ready to launch their projects to the public! Their presentations will be powered by PechaKucha™ – a fast paced format used around the globe to express ideas and concepts using a simple and fun method created by designers in Japan in 2003.
Immediately after the presentations there will be a Q&A moderated by LRI Executive Director Mike Ritz, LRI '07 followed by a social hour. Light hors d'oeuvres and refreshments will be provided.
