The Work of Leaders was developed from six years of research analyzing and distilling the work of prominent leadership scholars. Interviews with over 300 leadership experts contributed to this program’s design. Self-assessment, peer interactions, and expert facilitation inspire strategies for more skillful leadership. Facilitated by leadership expert and professor, Ingrid Bredenberg, M.S. the session will be a lively exploration of behaviors essential to effective leadership.

Ingrid Bredenberg, M.S.
A gifted and innovative facilitator and strategy coach, Ingrid brings fresh approaches and creative solutions to organizational transformation, leadership effectiveness, team performance and community building.
For over 25 years, Ingrid has worked with hundreds of leadership teams as well as with consultants, coaches and trainers. She brings expertise, creativity and vitality to projects that require high level alignment and commitment. Her comprehensive repertoire of resources includes leading-edge models; learning and assessment tools; surveys, teleclasses and e-learning techniques. She developed and teaches LifeShaping: Designing Extraordinary Futures at international learning centers and resorts. Ingrid has worked and studied in Europe and Asia. She earned her master's degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of New Haven.
Ingrid is on the faculty of Marlboro Graduate School where she teaches Leadership and Management as well as Strategic Planning and Policy in the Healthcare Administration program. She is also on the faculty of Leadership Pioneer Valley and Leadership Institute for Political and Public Impact. She has served on boards of directors of Western New England ODN, Southern Connecticut Chapter of American Society of Training and Development, Music for People, Fast Company's Company of Friends, and Women's Business Owners Alliance.
