Event Details

Registration/Networking: 6pm (Heavy Hors d'oeuvres served)

ASQ Charlotte Business Meeting: 6:45pm

Greg Flickinger from Snyder's-Lance Presentation: 7pm

Organizations have struggled for years to create employee engagement. Engagement seems to be an elusive concept that some seemingly magically create and others fail to approach even when effort is applied. Engagement does not have to be left to the magic of the stars aligning, it can be enabled. Greg Flickinger will discuss the recent and ongoing work of the AIOE (Alliance for Innovation and Operational Excellence) around the development of a “framework for engagement.” The framework highlights the interconnected and contributing factors that create the environment to allow engagement to grow. Awareness of the contributing factors will allow leaders to change their own behaviors which may be blocking engagement in their organization.

Event is limited to 68 people. Food will be provided.

Parking will be free in the parking deck just past the Harris Building

Meet in the lobby, as a Snyder's representative will provide key card access for the elevator to the 10th floor.
