Details: Leaders would like to invite students and graduates from all universities, colleges, and high schools to attend our global workshop designed to prepare and motivate individuals in achieving their career dreams of breaking into competitive fields and to teach them how they can succeed throughout their careers.

Leaders was founded in 2010 with a goal to create a network of individuals focused on becoming successful together. Today, the initiative is present in almost 20 cities globally with members working at some of the most prestigious firms as seen below.

The 2-day event will teach students how to build the perfect resume and train them for behavioral and technical interviews. Students will also learn the art of interviewing and specific networking techniques to gain an edge during recruiting. At the end of the event, select few students will be invited to join the Leaders Candidate program, allowing them to become a part of our global family.

Instructor: the workshop will be taught by Sherjan Husainie, the founder of Leaders. Sherjan currently works at Google Capital, Google’s Private Equity arm, and was previously an Investment Banker within Morgan Stanley’s Technology Investment Banking team. Prior to that, he worked at Houlihan Lokey and at RBC Capital Markets. Sherjan graduated from UCLA Anderson with a Masters in Financial Engineering and from the University of Toronto in Aerospace Engineering.

Also, students who cannot attend the event and need to cancel their RSVP must inform Leaders no later than 7 business days before the event to receive the full refund.

Support Leaders: we personally guarantee you that you will learn more in this workshop and it will have a much greater impact on you and your career than any other class or career event. We give students the option to opt-out of the refund if they truly enjoyed the workshop and would like to support the initiative. Leaders is a self-financed organization and managing such a global network takes resources and effort. If you truly enjoy the workshop and believe it has had a positive impact on you, we would love your support. More details during the event.

Cancellation Policy: in the case that the instructor cannot attend the workshop (flight delays, weather conditions, schedule changes, emergencies), the event will be rescheduled for a later date and students will be given an opportunity to receive a refund.

Leaders was started in 2010 to help young professionals unleash their potential and increase their ability to succeed in the fields of Investment Banking, Consulting, Accounting and Entrepreneurship. We offer workshops at leading universities around the world that motivate individuals in achieving their career dreams of breaking into these highly competitive fields and also teach them how they can succeed throughout their careers.

The workshops teach students how to build the perfect resume and also train them for the technical and behavioral portions of interviews. They not only teach all the required material to ace interviews, but also train students in the art of communicating their answers confidently and with conviction. Other topics covered during the workshops include networking, cold calling and emailing, cover letters, personal marketing, info sessions, and many other general techniques to give candidates an edge during recruiting. Furthermore, we invite a select few students to join the Leaders Candidate program, allowing them to become a part of the global network of graduates from the Leaders initiative. The program helps candidates with mentoring, networking, and career opportunities.

The best part about Leaders is that all of our services are free-of-charge. We believe in creating a network of professionals who help each other throughout their careers and form life-long relationships. We are a global family of mentors with a single focus: building relationships and becoming successful together. The workshops are taught by mentors who have worked at leading institutions and have had first-hand recruiting experience, both as interviewees and interviewers, and truly understand what it takes to successfully break into competitive industries.
