This informative program will focus on three key aspects of funding for start-ups: (a) means of raising capital; (b) latest trends in raising capital; and (c) securities compliance issues. Specifically, the program will discuss the types of investors available to start-ups, how to locate them and the business and legal documentation needed to attract investors. Attorney Karl D. Chandler, chair of the firm’s Mergers and Acquisitions group, has been a business and corporate attorney for more than 30 years. He advises clients in a broad range of industries, including technology start-up companies, manufacturers, professionals, contractors, importers, and distributors.
