Join us Wednesday, Dec. 4th, for the last installmentof the year, featuring guest speaker Dr. Sharon Kerrick, Associate Director of Entrepreneurship at the University of Louisville and the topic - “Empowering entrepreneurship and innovation in your organization.”
Dr. Kerrick will discuss 4 strategies and techniques for engaging and encouraging employees to be more innovative and intrapreneurial within your organization.

Dr. Sharon Kerrick is the Associate Director of the Forcht Entrepreneurship Center at the University of Louisville’s College of Business where she teaches in the Entrepreneurship MBA program (ranked #18 in the country-Princeton Review) and leads the Undergraduate Entrepreneurship Minor which she created and has been ranked #11 in the country by Businessweek. She is also the creator of "Vetstart" a military veterans entrepreneurship program. Prior to receiving her doctorate she was one of the owners of a technology firm for nearly 20 years. Her company grew to over 300 full time staff in 5 states with 11 locations.
She has received numerous recognitions and awards including Business First’s 40 Under 40, GLI's Technologist of the Year, Women 4 Women Champions for Her, Junior Achievement Worldwide Leadership Award, National Association of Women Business owner’s finalist and the overall University’s prestigious Paul Weber Teaching Excellence award which came with a $10,000 award.
She says one of the best things she has gotten to do recently was being asked by an Entrepreneurship MBA business plan team who won the Global business plan competition and over $800k (beating MIT, Johns Hopkins and the like) to join them to celebrate the ringing of the bell at NASDAQ!
