Please join us on Tuesday, November 5, from 5:30-8:00 pm at the BlackRock Building as we launch the Bay Area Impact Investing Initiative (BAIII).
We are bringing together investment professionals from advisory firms, family offices, community foundations, government agencies, public funds, financial institutions and other organizations to discuss sustainable and responsible investing to promote economic development in the San Francisco Bay Area.
By researching local impact investments and modeling a family of institutional quality investment funds across all asset classes, we could channel a small percentage of the Bay Area’s enormous wealth pools, which are invested globally, into regional investments and have a significant impact on sustainable development of our communities. Our panel of experienced investment professionals will discuss:
- What have been the barriers to scaling regional impact investing and how do we overcome those obstacles?
- How do we develop investment products that that address the spectrum of risk-return and regional impact?
- How do we align our portfolios with regional impact investing missions?
- How do we measure and report on the impact of regional investment?
