LATM's Charity Dodgeball Tournament

Dodge, duck, dip and dive for a great cause at Los Angeles Team Mentoring’s inaugural Charity Dodgeball Tournament!
On Sunday, April 1, 2012, LATM’s will proudly host a “Back to Middle School” themed Dodgeball tournament to help raise funds for the organization’s after-school mentoring program for at-risk middle school kids in L.A.
Twelve teams of 8-12 players will raise $2000 (or more!) to compete in a round-robin charity dodgeball tournament supported by the World Dodgeball Society. Players also have the option of registering individually as Free Agents, and will raise $250 towards their team's collective fundraising goal. Prizes will be awarded to teams for best team spirit/costumes, most money raised, and the overall tournament winner.

Spectators Get In Free!
In addition to the dodgeball action, there will be raffles, prizes, food, beverages, a live DJ, photo booth, and entertainment for participants and spectators alike. Admission is free for spectators, so be sure to come and cheer on your favorite team. Join us and help support LATM's efforts to engage, empower, and enrich our youth.
Spectators who register online through Eventbrite and will receive 1 free raffle ticket for general raffle. (Must be present to win.)
Tournament After-Party Hosted by El Coyote Cafe
The fun doesn't stop when the dodgeball action ends. Join us after the event to mix and mingle with LATM supporters, friends, and fellow dodgeball enthusiasts from 3 pm to 5 pm at El Coyote Cafe, located walking distance from Pacific Park.
10% of all food and drink proceeds will benefit Los Angeles Team Mentoring!
The mission of Los Angeles Team Mentoring is to guide middle school students growing up in challenging urban environments to recognize and reach their full potential as members of our community. Through a school-based approach to mentoring, young adolescents are given the tools and support necessary to make positive choices during a critical period in their lives.
