"Late Summer Wonders" Hike at Arastradero Preserve
Sunday, August 25, 2013 from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM (PDT)
Palo Alto, CA
What: If you think the drought and the long, hot summers that we've been experiencing means that there's nothing growing and thriving in our foothills, then think again! Join Paul Heiple, Acterra's Staff Botanist, for a pleasurable and informative hike through the Arastradero Preserve. He'll show you the beautiful late-summer flowers that are blooming, and discuss all the critters that are flourishing.
When: Sunday, August 25
Where: Arastradero Preserve located at 1530 Arastradero Road, Palo Alto. We will meet at the buildings next to the parking lot. Carpool, bike, or walk if possible.
Please bring: A reusable water bottle and dress for walking outdoors (sturdy shoes and long pants recommended).
PLEASE NOTE: When you complete your registration for this event, you DO NOT need to print a receipt or ticket.
