Sustainable Works is thrilled to announce that we are partnering with American Cinematheque to present:
Last Call at the Oasis is a critically acclaimed documentary about the world's water crisis, featuring Erin Brockovich. Given California’s very recent drought emergency, the film couldn't be more timely. There will be a panel discussion after the film moderated by Josh Rubenstein, the chief meteorologist for KCBS and KCAL. The panelists include; Mark Gold, Associate Director at the Institute of the Environment & Sustainability, UCLA and David Nahai, former CEO/GM of LADWP and currently a partner in the law firm of Lewis, Brisbois, Bisgaard & Smith, co-Chairing their national energy, water, and environmental practice areas. From the City of Santa Monica, Kim O'Cain, Water Resources Specialist and Myriam Cardenas, Assistant Manager for Water Production & Treatment.
A raffle for a Beach Cruiser will follow the panel discussion
