Event Details

Wine is a drink that creates conversation in every language. What better way to experience a language than through the prism of its wines?

These nights in wine country take you to the wines in the bottle, but more importantly, right into the language of wine, the vernacular of what it means to be a French wine lover in French, or Italian, or Portuguese. Every language has its sub-language of wine, and even when you speak a language, there's still a lot to learn about the specific vocabulary of wine.

IF YOU SPEAK THE LANGUAGE fluently or conversationally or casually, great, everyone will learn new idiomatic expressions you could use right away.

Everyone is invited. YOU DON'T HAVE TO SPEAK THE LANGUAGE! Just enjoy hanging out and tasting wine with people who do.  Artisan bread, geo-paired cheeses, olives, antipasto, and more.

Organizer

Boston Wine School

A lot of people have never been to a Boston Wine School class before, so let me tell you what to expect.

First of all, we are a guaranteed 100% snob-free zone. No matter who you are. No matter how much you know about wine. We know how to make wine interesting and interactive for everyone.

Classes are small — usually 15 students max — and usually start with sparkling wine, then bread, cheese, olives and antipasto. Expect to taste 6-8 specially selected wines. Weekend classes include dinner, featuring vegetarian options.

Have a great class!
