Free workshop, free month of garbage, & savings through waste reduction - Restaurant owners and managers are invited!
Commercial Composting and Food Waste Reduction Workshop offered to restaurants: Monday, March 10th 2pm - 4:30pm followed by a half hour of drinks and networking . Held at Gubanc's Pub & Restaurant; 16008 Boones Ferry Rd, Lake Oswego. Republic Services customers who owner or manage a restaurant and attend this free workshop are entered to receive one month free off the restaurant’s garbage bill donated by Republic Services, AND all who attend have the chance to win 2 donated tickets to see the Blazer's March 30th play the Memphis Grizzlies, courtesy of Republic Services. Tickets for complementary food and refreshment available, registration is required.** Workshop presented by Clackamas County Office of Sustainability, City of Lake Oswego, and Republic Services.
This free workshop will include information about incentives and money savings that businesses can achieve from commercial food scrap composting and waste reduction programs. Why come? Consumers today show preference toward companies with sustainable practices; moreover, we’re seeing that employees of those companies find greater satisfaction in their work that makes the world a better place.
