Headlining the weekend lineup is The Great Taste from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday. The showcase will feature samples of over 125 domestic and international wines and champagnes, including labels from France, Australia, South Africa, New Zealand, Italy, California, and Washington, as well as local grapes from right here in Wisconsin. Sample of name brands such as Duckhor, Terlato, Grgich Hills, Rodney Strong, and Kenwood. Top area restaurants will provide complimentary bites throughout the day, plus a “farm fresh to table” marketplace. A half hour, expert-led, wine seminar will offer insights into production and pairing processes with a focus on Wisconsin wines at 3 p.m. All of this plus live entertainment, a silent auction with proceeds benefiting the Walworth County Boys & Girls Club, and a commemorative wine glass are included. Tickets for The Great Taste are $80 per person, available only to those 21 or older. Upgrade to a $115 VIP ticket and get early access to the Wine & Food Festival and enjoy select premier wine and champagne tastings in the exclusivel VIP section.
