Deer and elk are two of the most common large mammals seen out in the parks. Discover how these antlered animals are adapted for survival through stories, songs and other fun campfire activities.
Due to the current fire restrictions in Jefferson County we will be unable to have an actual campfire. However, we have an exciting program planned with lots of fun and engaging activities.
Our programs are designed for individuals & families. If you are part of a group organization, (scout troop, meet-up, etc.) we ask that each family registers seperately. If you would like to register 6 or more people please contact, 720-497-7600, for more information.
Registration for this program opens at 9:00 AM one month before the date of the program. If you are registering after this time, but space is no longer available, please call Lookout Mountain Nature Center at 720-497-7600 to be placed on a waiting list.
Discover the Lookout Mountain Nature Center...where nature's riches abound and where curiosity and exploration are always rewarded.
