View beaver activity along the creek then head to the education shelter to learn more about these amazing creatures through campfire activities and stories. Enjoy roasting marshmallows afterwards.
Our programs are designed for individuals & families. If you are part of a group organization, (scout troop, meet-up, etc.) we ask that each family registers seperately. If you would like to register 6 or more people please contact 720-497-7600 for more information.
Registration for this program opens at 9:00 AM one month before the date of the program. If you are registering after this time, but space is no longer available, please call Lookout Mountain Nature Center at 720-497-7600 to be placed on a waiting list.

Connect with nature at this 110 acre park. Inside experience exhibits that depict migrating birds and reveal secrets of the ponderosa pine forest. Visit the Discovery Corner and Observation Room. Outside stroll trails winding through forest and meadow, picnic beneath towering pine trees or join a naturalist-guided program.
The Lookout Mountain Nature Center creates awareness, understanding, and conservation of Jefferson County's open spaces through year-round educational programs and exhibits.
