Labor Law Update

General overview of the presentation/program; Employment/labor law case law and statutory developments.
Participants will be expected to achieve an understanding of the most recent court interpretations of existing common and statutory laws governing employment relationships and the requirements imposed by new legislation.
J. Reed Roesler graduated from the University of Illinois College of Law in 1979. His practice is focused on the exclusive representation of businesses in the areas of labor and employment law, wage & hour compliance, occupational safety & health, and related litigation. Mr. Roesler regularly represents employers before the U.S. and Illinois Departments of Labor, the EEOC, the Illinois Department of Human Rights and the Illinois Human Rights Commission, the National Labor Relations Board, OSHA and the Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission. Mr. Roesler has represented employers at every level of the state and federal court systems, including the U.S. Supreme Court.
