Bring Your Own Can: As a part of this year’s Beer Garden fundraiser, L.A. Works will be supporting long-time partner AIDS Project LA by hosting a Canned Food Drive. Each year APLA serves more than 11,000 individuals with first-rate HIV/AIDS care and prevention programs. Volunteers from L.A. Works help prepare grocery and nutrition bags every month for APLA’s Necessities of Life Program, which provides groceries to over 1,700 clients that are on a limited income.
Show your support of APLA by bringing out cans of food to donate for the holidays.
Guests who bring 5 or more cans will receive a free L.A. Works grocery tote bag as an extra thanks.
