Event Details

Five rounds of chess. Five rounds of boxing. One winner, by checkmate or knockout.

Or decision, but still it's still one of the wildest performance art pieces you have ever seen. Get hopped up on coffee and cheer on your favorite boxer (our intern is fighting one of our OG Think Tankers) as he tries to keep his 15 moves ahead in his head while his head gets pounded by fists.

Three bouts, with the first happening shortly after 8pm, will feature two matches pitting Think Tankers head to head, and one featuring LA Chess Boxing Club members. Boxing will happen in the center of the gallery, with chess projected onto a wall through a live video art piece for all to see.

Before and after this event will be time to enjoy Caffe Vita specialty espresso drinks and observe Avi’s unique Coffeegraphs. All details subject to change.
