KRIYA YOGA: A Path to Happiness and Inner Peace
Friday, April 19, 2013 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM (PDT)
This event is free to the public. Seating is limited. Register soon to guarantee a space.
On Friday, April 19th the San Francisco Meditation Group of Self-Realization Fellowship will present an introductory lecture on Paramahansa Yogananda’s Kriya Yoga teachings. The technique of Kriya Yoga helps to quiet both body and mind, and makes it possible to withdraw our energy and attention from the usual turbulence of thoughts, emotions, and sensory perceptions. In the clarity of that inner stillness, we can experience a deepening interior peace and attunement with our Soul.
Our program will begin at 7:00 pm with a lecture by Brother Kalyanananda, a senior monastic with the Self-Realization Order followed by a guided meditation at 8:00 pm. After the program light refreshments will be served.
