CPB, ITVS and KPBS invite you to the West Coast premiere of The Graduates and ¡Vamos a Lograrlo! shorts.   

The Graduates/Los Graduados is a documentary film from the Emmy Award-winning PBS Series Independent Lens.

The struggles and triumphs of Latino and Latina students from across the United States are explored through their own eyes in this documentary about the challenges faced in the American public education system.

Join us for this special public screening!

Doors open and Reception at 6:30 PM

Film Program at 7:15 PM

A panel discussion follows, moderated by KPBS Fronteras Reporter Adrian Florido  and featuring filmmaker Bernardo Ruiz.  Additional panelists include:

Eduardo Corona, local youth profiled in The Graduates/Los Graduados

Christopher Yanov, Reality Changer Founder

Yessenia Cardenas, local youth profiled in featured short ¡Vamos a Lograrlo!

Rachel Asman, EUHSD Cal-SAFE Program Coordinator

The Graduates airs on KPBS-TV on October 28th and November 4th at 10 p.m. as part of the PBS series, Independent Lens.
