As a property owner or manager in the city of Chicago, your buildings are subject to the City of Chicago Building Code. Join us for an educational workshop as William Bugajski of the Department of Buildings shares some of the most common residential building code violations and what they mean to you.
As a reminder, all Owner Excellence Program Members are required to complete six (6) hours of continuing education during each year of membership. We encourage you to take advantage of this free opportunity to gain two (2) hours of continuing education credit.
The Department of Buildings supports the safety and quality of life for the residents and visitors of the City of Chicago through enforcement of the Chicago Building Code. The permitting and inspection process promotes high quality design standards as well as the conservation, rehabilitation and reuse of the City's existing buildings
