King and Pawn Endings...  When Pawns begin to run...watch out!

~~Flying in from L. A. will be ~~

Grandmaster Varuzhan Akobian

Current American Open Champion and Coach to the 2010 U S Olympiad Chess Team

and

Super Trainer Shiva Maharaj

Recommended by Gm Victor Mikhalevski, Israel's Bronze Medalist at the 2010 Chess Olympiad and GM Varuzhan Akobian, current American Open Champion

The Akobian-Shiva workshop will cover simple, but very critical positions the chess players frequently misplay.  They end up with good positions in the opening and middle game and then blow it in the endgame.  Our goal is to solve that problem for many.  For the scholastic student, unless they are winning every game and moving successfully up the rating chart, they still are in need of material that they can truly apply to their own game.  It is our goal to probide that type program throughout the events we offer.
