Kids’ and Teens’ Cooking Class: Homemade Soup to Eat and Share
Sunday, November 11, 2012 from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM (EST)
With Thanksgiving right around the corner, take this opportunity to give thanks by making homemade soup and sharing a pot with COTS (the Committee on Temporary Shelter). In this class, we will chop ingredients to make yummy pots of potato corn chowder and homemade chicken noodle soup. After enjoying our soup, we will pack up a care package of soups to bring to COTS to share with families in need of housing. This class is for kids and teens, ages 8 and up, accompanied by an adult. Note: When registering, please select a registration spot for each child attending. Adults do not need to register, but please fill-in their name under "Accompanying Adult" in the registration form.
