Don't just be a video game player, Be a Video Game CREATOR!! Learn to design and build computer-based Video Games and Interactive Stories using object oriented programming methods.
Each day will be filled with a combination of creative design, strategy, coding, outdoor play and lots of FUN!.
Located on the beautiful Stony Brook University campus, kidOYO summer programs include a rich university experience including tours through campus, interaction with professors, discussions about future STEM opportunities, and social interaction with other young coders.
Campers should bring lunch or pre-purchase a meal ticket for $40.00 to access lunch through University Dining halls. Meal tickets MUST be purchased NO LATER than JUNE 15th, per Univeristy requirements. Meals will consist a choice between a hot meal or sandwich and salad bar, include a drink and dessert.
Ages 9 - 12 (must turn 9 by 12.31.2013)
Impressive 10:1 Student to Teacher ratio
All campers receive; kidOYO tshirt and 1GB USB wristband + project(s) data
