Nutrition Info-Dining at its best! Easy as 1-2-3
Each class of the series will feature (1) latest, cutting-edge nutrition science and history; (2) culinary tips and tricks; and (3) hearty samplings of all foods prepared.
Over the past 30 years a host of scientists have provided ground-breaking research that consistently points to the same conclusion: that we were designed by nature for a way of living and a way of eating, that has almost disappeared from our culture.
Sandi Rechenmacher presents Dr. Neal Barnard's Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM) Food for Life (FFL) program featuring cutting edge nutrition research as the basis of healthy lifestyles, preventing and surviving chronic diseases (Cancer, Diabetes, Heart Disease, Obesity) along with new healthy culinary tricks and short cuts.
Besides the Disease Prevention Focus, this series also includes a Weight Loss component and is designed for those with any of these issues, their friends, family, and anyone wanting to learn about 'Prevention as the best medicine.'
FFL students will learn to identify which foods bolster one’s immune system and those that do not… and WHY and HOW this is. While debunking nutritional myths, the class will focus on navigating the pop culture to enjoy a most vibrant, healthy Quality of Life.
