As a new student, we want to provide you with all of the information and resources you will need to ensure that you are successful at Kennedy-King College!

New Student Orientation is designed to provide you with the information and resources you need to ensure your success at Kennedy-King College.  During orientation, you can expect to:

  • Explore our certificate programs and degree offerings, and discuss an academic plan that matches your educational and career goals
  • Learn more about the financial aid process and types of aid available
  • Discuss the importance of the placement exam, and test prep resources
  • Learn about student clubs, groups and organizations
  • Tour the campus and learn more about the student support services available to help you succeed
  • Learn how to navigate your student portal

Please plan on a full day on campus to complete the registration process.  New Student Orientation takes approximately two hours to complete, and is required of all new students prior to moving through the rest of the registration process.  Please note that due to the time offering of Thursday evening sessions, students who attend these sessions will need to plan on a subsequent trip to campus to complete the remainder of the registration process.

Prior to attending New Student Orientation, please:
