You are cordially invited to Keep New York City Wild.
The Wild Bird Fund, New York City’s first and only wildlife rehabilitation and education center, is hosting Keep New York City Wild, our 2nd Annual Fundraising Gala. This event celebrates the great successes of our first year in our own facility at 565 Columbus Avenue.
We look forward to seeing you at this wildly spectacular event, but if you cannot attend, please consider making a donation and/or becoming a member of the Wild Bird Fund at www.wildbirdfund.org
The WBF receives no funding from any public agency. We are supported by individual donations from caring New Yorkers, and 80% of the work is done by our 200+ volunteers. As word of our unique work reaches the public throughout the NYC area, more and more people bring distressed wildlife to our door. To date, we have not had to turn anyone away—but to continue we need your help.
Your ticket purchase and donation will help supply critical funding for medical supplies, food, caging, equipment, and operating expenses to give New York’s wildlife the fighting chance it deserves.

When & Where
Wild Bird Fund
Wild Bird Fund, New York City’s only wildlife rehabilitation and education center, is a state and federally licensed 501(c)(3) that cares for the injured, ill and orphaned wildlife of New York City.
Our mission is two-fold: first, to provide medical care and rehabilitation for the injured, ill, and orphaned wildlife of New York City and to release them back to the wild; and second, to educate New Yorkers--particularly the young--about the rich diversity and environmental needs of the city’s wildlife.
WBF treats over 3,000 wild birds and animals each year. Our patients include both native and migratory birds, from the American robin to rarities such as Virginia rails and saw-whet owls.
We hope you will join us!
