PRE-SALE TICKETS:

Get your tickets today for what Billboard.com has called one of the top events GRAMMY® weekend. Discounted pre-sale tickets available January 4th - January 27th. Tickets will not be sold on-site.  Don't miss out. Limited space available.  After January 19th, regular ticket prices will be as follows: Platinum $175.00, Gold $150.00 and Silver $100.00.

SAVE LIVES:

On top of your ticket, purchase a clean cookstove for $25.  4,000,000 people die each year from illness related to breathing smoke from cooking fires. This is 2x the number of people who died of AIDS in 2010 and 6x as many annual deaths as malaria. Buy a stove and you will save lives, create economic opportunity and combat climate change in Darfur, the western Sudan region, in Africa.

ABOUT OXFAM AMERICA & THE DARFUR STOVES PROJECT (POTENTIAL ENERGY):

A portion of the proceeds will help Oxfam America, an international relief and development organization, continue to create lasting solutions to end poverty, hunger, and injustice. Together with individuals and local groups in more than 90 countries, Oxfam saves lives. Armed conflict in Darfur has uprooted more than 2.5 million people. Oxfam is working with Sudanese partners to provide clean water, agricultural support, tree seedlings, fuel-efficient stoves, and small business trainings and grants for people living in and around the crowded camps.

The Darfur Stoves Project was founded to improve the safety and livelihoods of women by providing fuel-efficient stoves which reduce firewood requirements, limit women’s exposure to violence during firewood collection and decrease the use of money and food rations to obtain fuel. The Darfur Stoves Project is the first initiative of the nonprofit organization Potential Energy. Potential Energy’s mission is to bring life-improving technologies to people in developing nations. Designed to optimize fuel-efficiency and reduce toxic emissions when cooking meals, a clean cookstove is one intervention that addresses almost all of the United Nations’ Millennium Development Goals: ending poverty and hunger; gender equity; child health; maternal health; and environmental sustainability. For half the world’s population, a clean cookstove means one less day of struggling to find enough wood to survive. It means increased safety, better health, less harm to the environment, a higher income, more time and increased employment. Learn more at oxfamamerica.org and potentialenergy.org.
